Personnel
ELS employs a multi-disciplinary staff of experienced and degreed chemists, analysts,
microbiologists,
environmental field scientists, project managers and support staff.
All our chemists and analysts participate in continuing education through manufacturer
and professional quality assurance training. In addition, each maintain excellent
proficiency testing scores and perform ongoing demonstrations of capability (DOCs)
which validate their competency in methodology and instrumentation. This is further
confirmed through frequent internal and external audits.
Field scientists have successfully completed training for environmental sampling
and monitoring methodologies, hazardous waste operations and emergency response
(HAZWOPER), oil and hazardous material spill response and cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
(CPR)/first aid. They are certified global positioning satellite operators.
Project managers are assigned to each customer to ensure that services meet high-quality
standards and expectations. Our seasoned professionals have years of experience
working with the general public, consulting engineers, federal agencies and municipalities,
plus a broad range of commercial and industrial corporations.
